I do think that it is only the hand of God that protected the people of the town from more loss of life. I am afraid that there will be more loss of life reported when they have uncovered more of the rubble.
Amid the mess the heart of the people is strong. Iv'e seen the American flag still standing, and being raised. Iv'e seen and heard many of the victims openly praising God, and grateful to have the clothes on their backs, and their loved ones alive.
This is America. We get up and keep on keeping on. We are one nation, under God, indivisible, and will remain that way. There are charities popping up left and right to help, do your homework, don't fall for the tricks out there, but do what you feel you can do to help. If you can't help monetarily hit your proverbial knees, and pray. The prayers of a righteous people, availeth much. I don't want to be trite, or appear canned, but I fervently say, "God bless America." In the holy name of Christ, Amen.
